Nursery

All right here it is!! The post we have all been waiting for, or at least I have! Baby Aiden has a room!!! YAY! Granted it is still half guest room/ half baby aiden's room and by this I only mean that the double guest bed is still in there. It is probably going to stay in there at least until after he is born because people will be coming to stay and need a place to sleep. When we move we will have more rooms! Anyways last night Ben and I set up aiden's nursery. Ben built the crib and I arranged things in drawers and put in the bedding. Here are pictures of the process. Pictures #1 and #2 are us painting the letters that spell "AIDEN" Pictures #3 and #4 are of Ben putting together the crib Picture #5 are the completed letters on the wall. Pictures #6, 7 and 8 are of the completed crib. Pictures #9 and #10 show the changing table and the cleaned out closet that is now baby aiden's nook. There are still a few more things we are going to do to make that area look less like a closet, but we took the doors off and took most everything out of there so that it can be just a walk in area. Putting the changing table in there gives the room a much less cramped look. Thanks for the idea! (either kimberly or mamaw, I can't remember)

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the furniture and bedding.

Little Aiden has a pretty place to come home to.

I love the idea of putting the changing table in the closet.
It is like his own little nook.

I like the letters too.

Wow! It's gorgeous!!! I can't believe I have a grandchild old enough to know how to put a crib together.

You guys have a very merry and Blessed Christmas. Have fun in Chicago!

Be sure and double click on the pictures so you can see that there are little yellow dots on those blue letters! :-)

You can also add tie-back curtains to the closet opening, for a cute look. Then you can close them if it gets messy in there. (I know a thing or two about hiding mess!)

I think Ben is the only member of the family to ever look at directions 'BEFORE he put it together. It looks awsome!!! aiden is one very blessed child.

Can hardly wait for you both to get here,

Didnt see the "dots" but will take Scooter's word they are there.

2008 is going to be a great year!!!
