Shout Outs & Moving Pics

Yay! We are in our new home and finally have internet and cable hooked up. What did people do before such things existed? I have felt cut off from civilization! Just kidding...Kinda.

Anyways we are in the new house and 99.9% unpacked. We still have a few tiny projects to complete but for the most part we are done. I am not going to take pictures of everything until it is ALL done though. Mostly our kitchen table still has to be sealed. We painted it to make it dark (what a project that turned out to be! but we are very happy with it). So once that is completed and back inside I will take pictures of everything to share. In the meantime, you'll just have to wait.

I am MAJORLY indebted to many of our family members who helped us in the moving process. We absolutely could not have got this done without them and especially not as quickly so we are incredibly grateful! So here are my shout out's!

MVP for coming the farthest and cleaning the most: MARY ELLEN!!!

Ben's mom was so wonderful to come all the way from tennessee to help us get moved. She cleaned, she cooked, she hung things, packed and unpacked things. She is a one woman show I tell ya!!! Thank you so much!

MVP for helping the MOST frequently. Every day through every phase of the move: KIMBERLY!!!!

Kimberly has been absolutely awesome from watching aiden while we closed on the house, to helping me pack my entire kitchen, to helping paint, to unpacking, to going shopping for furniture with me, anything and everything and every SINGLE DAY!! You are the best!!

MVP for day of the move MOVING: ANDREW!!!

Ben's brother andrew was super he-man day of the move. Ben and andrew ended up moving most furniture/ heavy items by themselves. I am fairly sure Andrew's back was very sore by the end of the day but he did a great job and we appreciate all the hard work!

MVP for day of the move helpfulness: BETH!!!

My sister in law came over around 2pm and stayed till after dinner time and did anything/ everything that was asked of her!! She was incredibly helpful and great company for me. All in all a 5 star performer!! Thank you Beth!

MVP of all things KITCHEN: MAMAW!!!

Mamaw was an amazing performer of the move. She helped me unpack the entire kitchen, decorate the kitchen, organize the kitchen, re-cover our chairs, hang things on the wall. She is the kitchen lady!!! She also came on all moving days and worked her little butt off!! Thank you so much mamaw.

MVP of the CLOSETS: MOM!!!

My mom came over and went through all my clothes (this is a HUGE job people!) she organized clothes into my drawers. Came up with organization for my closet and then actually organized all of it. Now if I can just keep it that way. Great job mom!

Other notable mentions are: David Grogan and Jarod....Who did come by at different points but didn't stay very long but we sure do appreciate your SHOWING UP!

That's it for the MVP awards. We are so incredibly thankful to all who helped.

Now I have other things to blog about that I will try to get to today cause I am leaving for Orlando tomorrow!

I only took a few pics of moving so this doesn't come close to doing it justice, but it's what I have!
The truck about halfway loaded
HUGE 24 ft truck we rented. We filled it all up!
Taking a Mcdonald's break in the back of the truck!
Aiden's new obsession since we moved. His toothbrushes and toothpaste!

I love the picture of the lunch break in the back of the truck. That is a hard working group.

You should have gotten a picture of Mary Ellen with her award!

Glad you are all moved and can't wait for the pictures.

Thanks for the shout out....... Glad I could help.... I am packing again because we leave Saturday for Tampa.... HOPEFULLY we can hook up on Monday, I would love to see you without all the drama of moving. I could possibly drive over to Orlando... I will talk to you sometime this weekend. Be safe traveling.

Love you all

Wish I could have been there to help, but it looks like you had lots of muscle, family, and Mary Ellen to organize and clean. Great pictures. I love Aiden with the toothbrushes.
