Easter 2010!!!

We started off our morning with the easter bunny coming to see aiden (see previous post!) and then we headed off to church for all the fun easter activities. They held a breakfast in the family life center as well as a TON of games/ activities for the little kids. We also had 2 egg hunts. One for kids age 0-3 and then for older kids. It was great. Aiden once again did wonderful at easter egg hunting. The only difference was this time he realized he didn't really need the whole egg, hge started opening the eggs and dumping the contents into his basket and leaving the empty egg shell on the ground. Too funny! Then in between the egg hunt and worship, all the kids got to play some more and the parents got to chat. What a fun morning! We did have a very good worship service after all this, but I didn't take pictures of that!

Aiden loved the bounce house slides!

And he took about a million turns on this roller coasteAlign Centerr car ride!

Loved it! Even watching other kids ride on it.

Our family picture. Aiden was real excited about this picture!

Then after church we went to ridglea country club to meet my parents for easter lunch! It was super yummy, TONS of options on a huge beautiful buffet! AND there was a little visit from the easter bunny himself!

Aiden and gigi taking turns eating bites of cake. I think Aiden gave himself more turns than gigi.

And this is the start of a day full of candy, cake, and cookies only!!! Oh my! :)

The 5 of us at the club!

After lunch we headed to rowlett for the cox family get together. Mamaw hid "aiden's" eggs in the living room for him to hunt because by this point it was starting to sprinkle outside. Well aiden found them all immediately, except these eggs had MONEY!!! Aiden didnt seem to understand how awesome that was and kept giving his money away to people! We're gonna have to teach him about that one!

Aiden was a happy excited boy all day though! I wish I had taken more pictures at mamaw's but it was a relaxing afternoon/ evening. We cooked out and ate and the kids hunted for their easter eggs in the house. What a fun easter! Hope everyone else had as much fun as we did!
