35 Weeks/ 8 Months

Hallie is now 8 months but not a whole lot has changed since 7 months. She has been on the verge of crawling for quite a while now. She gets up on all 4's. She'll rock back and forth, she'll scoot with her arms (so she actually ends up going backwards) and she'll roll over and over over to get to where she wants to go. If you lay her down on the floor she can be across the room very quickly but still has not mastered the cross the body motion of crawling on her knees. Hallie has gotten a teeny bit better at taking solid foods. Ben & I have joked that she may skip the whole "baby food" stage and just go straight to table food. I have given her mashed potatoes which she enjoys and she loves to gum on bread if you'll let her. She still has NO teeth though. She is also very very active with her arms. It has become increasingly difficult for me to get these "pics of the day" cause as soon as I sit her down she's trying to get down on all 4's or flapping with her arms. We have learned the lesson several times in the last week about trying to eat with her in our laps, both ben & I have ended up with our food in our laps. We're at that grab for everything stage.

That's pretty much it on miss priss for 8 months. She's still a very good baby most of the time. Still prefers to be held rather than put down. Still has very little interest in learning new things. She's just content :)
