New years eve our family of 4 elected to have a fun family night at home. The kids & I went out to the party store and they got to pick out party hats for us & blowers and when daddy got home (yes daddy worked a half day on new years eve) the party started!!!
As soon as daddy walked in the door, he got attacked by the 2 kiddos ready for the festivities.
The did NOT want their picture together. Hallie very much wanted to be held by either mommy or daddy, not sitting on the floor. How dare we!

And the prince of new year...the alst time he was seen in his NICE purple shirt for the rest of the night. Side note in case you don't know: Aiden is obsessed with changing his shirt and usually prefers ugly t-shirts over nice shirts. I had told him "no aiden we're not gonna change your shirt tonight, you're gonna wear your purple shirt" but silly me I didn't specify he had to wear THAT purple shirt and soon after this picture he came walking out with a purple ACU jersey on, saying I'm wearing my purple shirt!

We made a yummy meal of steak and veggies for dinner and watched some of the new years shows before the kids retired to bed (did not make it to the new year!)Then ben & I stayed up and rang in the new year as a two-some.
Latest we've been up in awhile!!! :)
New years day was a relaxing and fun filled day. Ben's parents came over to spend the day with us. We played games, watched aiden ride his bike, and made dinner.
