Part 2 and we're on wednesday which was the
4th of JuLy!!!

I have no pictures from the beach this day. It was wayyyyyy crowded & I don't think I even got my camera out. As we normally do, because the island is so crowded for the 4th, we ordered in food to the condos for dinner, had a special church service/ family time and then hung around on the balconies watching the fireworks.
This pic is semi-odd. I think it started out as "everyone over there" let's get a picture and then it turned into "all the girls wearing red" and then to "all the girls in red plus david in red & Hallie" It's a cute picture though!

I'd like to point out I bought headbands & flags for my family to be spirtied but some of us refused to wear them & while the kids loved waving the lil flags in the beginning, they got lost throughout the night. Boooo :( This is why I look a lil like a goof in my headband but I kept mine on when the others didn't!
I absolutely love that Ben & I are so happy/ excited in this picture & our kids look bored.

Friday= Last day on the beach, last day on the island :(
Jarod bought aiden some goggles to hopefully help with the eye situation. He left them on for at least 50% of the day which was an improvement but more than that he LOVES his goggles so thanks uncle Jarod!!!

Jarod, Daddy & Aunt Kim also taught aiden how to ride a boogie board this last day. So cute!

Some rest/ snuggle time with mamaw. Aiden didn't get a nap this last day because we were cramming in too much last minute fun. After the beach we got cleaned up quickly and headed out for the Dolphin Watch boat ride.
Aunt Kim came along with our family to see the dolphins. She's awesome like that!

Our family of 4. We had such an amazing time all week!!! I was sad to leave...
Our last night on the island and we tried out a new mexican restaurant. It was really good plus it had an awesome view out back. We bought mamaw & the kids matching shirts to say thank you for an incredible week but also to hopefully get a good picture of them together. Totally didn't work out that way.
In fact this may be the worst picture taking my kids did all week. Come on now!!! HAHA
Other people got good pictures out on the bay for the last night though. Jarod & Beth.

And promptly fell asleep just as soon as we were back in our car in DFW. It was a long, tiring, fun, amazing trip this year. I have smiled so much just looking back over the pics of this fun fun week. The kids did so great and such fun family time. Thanks again to mamaw for making it all possible!!! Such special memories!
Can't wait for next year!!!

That picture with Mammaw and the kids is hilarious. Why do they both have their hands in their mouth?
The ones of your family is precious as well as the one of our immediate family and the funny one of the whole group.

It was a special year seeing it through the eyes of Hallie and Aiden.
BTW......I think you should do a comparison post. Hallie at this age at Padre and Aiden at this age at Padre.
Goggles on the airplane...HILARIOUS!!! Love the "cheesey" pictures!! Looks like so much fun! And, I want to know what that Mexican Restaurant was named.
It was a great trip! All the goggle pics are my favorite, and that he wore them in the airport.
