For Halloween this year aiden reallllly wanted to be JAKE from "Jake and the never land pirates". He also realllly wanted Hallie to be Izzy. So I ordered their costumes several months ago when he first started talking about it. For those that aren't familiar with kids shows on Disney Jr..."Jake and the never land pirates" is the peter pan story after peter pan leaves never land. There's still captain hook, still the crocodile, still smee. Only difference is Jake, Izzy & Cubby are the good never land pirates.
"Yo Ho Matey's away! There'll be treasure and adventure today!! Heave Ho here we go, together as a team, Jake & the never land pirates & Meeeee"
My little Jake & Izzy
Yep this is the best I got of them together!
Izzy
Jake
And don't forget baby BOO!
This year was a little bit different since we are new to this neighborhood and didn't really know what to expect trick or treat wise. Gigi, poppy, and mamaw came to trick or treat with us and we walked up to the church that is literally a block away and trick or treated at their trunk or treat first to make sure the kids got some candy before hitting our neighborhood on the way back.
Walking the streets
Trunk or treating
Hallie had no problem sticking her hand into the bowl to get her candy!
Aiden also didn't have any problems asking for what he wanted from the candy bowl.
Stopping for some refreshments at the church before heading back out to the neighborhood.
The guys taking a break while the kids wait in line to ride the train.
Aiden a.k.a. Jake on the train!
This is the "train" that went through the church parking lot. The kids liked it.
I'm glad we did this because we did hit a couple houses on the way back home but lots of people weren't home and only a couple had lights on. Next year we will need to venture a lil further out I think. The church was a great atmosphere though.
Heading home
Happy Halloween!
Checking out the loot in the living room
The rest o the night Aiden was a big help passing out candy. At least to the few trick or treaters we did get. My little rule follower would tell them "you have to say trick or treat" and then "you only get 1 piece of candy". Seriously. Silly boy!
I am sad that this neighborhood is not as big on halloween as our old one but oh well. It was fun never the less. Happy Halloween everybody!!

you get lots of credit for ordering those costumes in advance and having everything for Halloween.
the kids had a great time and so did the adults.
Well, they are just the cutest things. I am totally not familiar with these characters, but will make it a priority to become so. Can't believe that Hallie left her "hat" on so good. Can't wait to see what all three will be next year.
The kids looked so cute! Love those little pirates & baby boo!!!
