Two weekends ago now was a very big weekend. We went to Shreveport for Eloise's 70th birthday extravaganza! And it was quite the extravaganza. We had a great time even in the very short trip we had. We went there and came back in the same day! Thanks to sherry, brandi, and blake who let us ride with them and helped keep aiden occupied during the trip and thanks to papaw and eloise for having us at the party! Here are some pics from that:

Then that same weekend was labor day and we had the annual labor day celebration at mamaw's house. There was lots and lots of food, fun and pool basketball! We also said farewell to my cousin Kat who left for college in Savannah Georgia the following day! Here's a few pics from that day!

Kat's going off to school. Savannah college of art and design? I think that's what SCAD stands for. She is a very talented artist and she is going to do amazing things with her gift! Ok I'm caught up now! Aiden went to school again on tuesday and I got a bad report. He won't nap during nap time and he won't sit and eat HIS lunch. He walks around and steals the other kids lunches. This doesn't really surprise me, he has always liked to be eating whatever anyone else is eating. I don't really know what I can do about either of those issues but it makes me sad when he gets bad reports. This morning was "donuts with dad" at school so ben took him and had donuts with him. I hope we have a better report when I pick him up this afternoon!

That was a great long weekend. Enjoyed celebrating with Eloise and then had a great day at the pool with Jarod's awesome cooking.

Don't worry about the napping and eating issue at school. That's what school is about--learning. He will get it eventually and then you'll be shocked about this.
If all you are getting is bad reports, I'd talk to the teacher or director of the preschool. When I was teaching, we were to make sure we gave LOTS of positives with any negatives so that the parents aren't disappointed and dreading each afternoon. After all...he is ONLY 1 1/2 years old. He can't be perfect at that yet. And if they say the other kids are doing fine, they are lying!!
