In other news, Aiden got his first piece of mail today!! Addressed to him and everything! It was exciting for all of us! It was his social security card! He now has a number!!! YAY! We covered the number to protect his identity. We didn't think it wise to post his number for the world to see, not that he has a whole lot to steal but still.

Because of the encouraging weight gain at the doctors the other day I was starting to feel optimisitc about getting my petite baby into his "newborn" clothes so this morning we tried on some of the smaller outfits to see how far we have to go. As you can tell from the pictures we still have a ways to go. Apparently "newborn" equals "fat baby" because my 7 and a half pound baby still has to wear "preemie" clothes and apparently will be for at least a couple more weeks.

Now as requested here are a couple pics of both my boys. I keep telling ben he needs to get on and blog about his own version of "getting adjusted" because I am not sure how to write that. As far as what I can tell you ben is adjusting well. He is having to work a lot more mornings now because of my school schedule and wanting to be here at night so getting our schedules adjusted is somewhat difficult. The days where he has to get up early and go to work I have to do middle of the night happenings by myself which has had me exhausted the past few days. However; ben had the day off today so last night I went to bed at 8:30 and Ben slept in the other room with the baby until I woke up this morning at 8 am. I got almost 12 hours of MUCH needed catch up sleep! What a good hubby and daddy!

And in closing a couple more pics of our sweet baby sleeping!! He is just too precious for words!!!

Oh and just in case you're wondering....yes ALL these pictures were taken today. I realize he has on a different outfit in almost every picture. I used to think that women who had their babies just in a diaper were very bad mothers (come on there are SOOO many cute baby clothes, right?) Yes, well I have changed my mind about this. These women are not bad mothers, they have run out of clean clothes to put on their baby who spits up, pees or poops on everything that they dress them in!

What great pictures!!! It's fun to see him in all the different clothing. Brandi was just 2 1/2 ounces bigger than Aiden...so I sure know about the clothes that make them look like tiny, little, ity bity babies. LOVE the last picture of him sleeping and the tongue just barely out. Way cute!!! Give him a kiss for me. Love to you all!!! Sherry
Thanks for the pics of both the boys, I miss my baby too.
Can't wait to see you all again at the end of the month.
Love the pictures. He is so much more alert. (Aiden.....not Ben)
Ben looks like the proud daddy! He is such a good husband to let you have one whole night!
I am with Sherry....my favorite picture is the sleeping baby with
the tongue slightly sticking out.
He will be in those newborns before you know it.
Love to all!
