Oh the Madness!!

This past week has been so incredibly crazy. I feel like there hasn't been a spare moment to stop and breathe much less blog! But now we are on the other side of the madness and I am happy to report that everything came off well. I finished my finals on friday. Thank goodness!!! I now have a 2 week break before I have to go to summer school for 6 weeks and then I will be an official college graduate. 8 more weeks from right now! I think I can do it. anyways friday morning I took my last final and then I went and picked mom up from the airport. I had a couple of hours with her before I had to leave to go to my friends bachelorette party (that I was hosting). The bachelorette party went well, just wasn't really where my heart was at. I wanted to be at home with Aiden and mom. Oh well. It was fun all the same. Saturday we took Aiden out to eat lunch (his first time EVER). We went to sweet tomatoes and it was wonderful to be out with him but at the same time I kept worrying. I think it will be a while before I feel completely comfortable with him being in public places. Saturday night Ben and I had to go to the rehearsal dinner for the wedding I was in on sunday, so again fun, but not where I would have preferred to be. Then sunday was a whirlwind day of trying to get my mom off and getting ready for the wedding. Aiden went to the wedding because it was two of our friends who got married and I was in the wedding so there was really not another option so we decided the wedding would be Aiden's first official outing. He did GREAT! He slept in between his feedings (even though the music in there was very loud), he never cried or created a problem. He was the perfect baby, as always! I was so proud and of course everyone ooh and ahhed and said how beautiful he was. The majority of everyone seemed to think he looked like me which of course made me happy. There's no denying that aiden has ben's eyes and lips so it always excites me when people think he looks like me. Anyways after the wedding last night we could finally breathe a sigh of relief. We watched the end of the mavericks game (and cried! just kidding) and now today I am taking it completely easy. Aiden and I have been watching movies, doing laundry, and just relaxing today which is making me very happy. I have missed spending a lot of time with him these past few days. It is hard for me to get used to leaving him. Anyways Ben's parents are coming tomorrow night (which we are excited about!!) and then we will be done having visitors for the next month! (which I am also kind of excited about) Not that I dont LOVE having our family come to visit because I do but it is very hard to get on a "normal" schedule when people are coming and going. Plus the time has come for me to start my intense diet and working out routine to get in shape. That is also hard to do with visitors. I hope everyone has a wonderful and relaxing weekend.
