This and That

I know my blog is so boring right now but the reason for that is that I'm pretty boring right now! I have very little to share that is interesting. Ben is working constantly and I am playing with aiden, which is becoming more and more of a full time job. Aiden can now climb!! He can climb up on the couches, he could already climb the stairs, he can climb up on chairs he can stand up on his tiptoes and reach just about anything on any table. I rally hate that cause I used to be able to keep things out of his reach by pushing everything to the very center of tables. That is no longer working. And to my absolute horror...he is learning doorknobs!!! Pretty soon it will be just complete madness. I keep wanting to take video of him but he is so aware of what the camera is that as soon as I get it out he will stop whatever he was doing. GRRR. I will keep trying though! 

Last weekend I had fun playing/ shopping with my mom in grapevine and then Aiden and I went to see my cousin Katheryn's gallery art night at her school. She is a VERY talented artist! I meant to take pictures that day but I didn't. Ben went to play golf with my dad, his dad, and my brother Jarod, even though it was incredibly windy and cold. Then ben's parents came over that night to see aiden and hang out with us, I meant to take pictures of that....but I didn't! haha I am slacking! 

Now this week has been pretty slow and uneventful. Yesterday was ben's day off and we circled the metroplex checking out pawn shops! Oh the joy! I never knew what I was missing in pawn. I am only partially kidding! Ben and I are debating on whether to buy a new laptop or get one from a pawn shop. Our old laptop had a broken wireless network card which means it always had to be plugged into a port to get internet and that kind of defeats the purpose of having a laptop so we sold that one....to a pawn shop! Of course. Now we are in the process of figuring out what to do about getting another one. 

Tomorrow Aiden and I are in a spring fashion show benefitting christian care centers. My grandfather Bear was very instrumental on the board there and mamaw is still a big supporter of the ministry so she volunteered aiden and I to be models in the fashion show. I really think I only got the gig because of Aiden...I had never been asked before? Should be fun though. It is my goal to remember the camera!!! 

Then sunday afternoon Ben and I are taking Aiden to his first mavs game! We are excited and we really hope he likes it. He is not always great with loud noises, but he does usually like places where there is a bunch to look at so it could go either way. Again I will take the camera! So hopefully in the next couple of days I will have some more interesting stuff to blog about!
