Six Flags

This weekend was full of fun and adventures. Saturday morning Ben's brother andrew arrived from florida. He is going to be staying with us/ in dallas for a while. Saturday night we went over to ben's dads to celebrate allison's birthday. We had a cook out and then cake and ice cream which I heard from everyone was amazing but I am really trying to get back into the swing of eating right so I didn't partake in the food. We had a good time visiting and celebrating allison's birthday though! I took all of one picture! Then yesterday we went to church and then by my parent's house to get free tickets from my mom. She had gotten 3 free tickets to six flags for us to go yesterday afternoon as "teachers". So after aiden's nap we headed out to six flags. We had a good time but I am so glad we had free tickets because six flags is just not as fun as I remembered it??? Maybe I'm getting old or maybe it's the hassle of going with a little kid...I don't know but we were glad we only had to pay for parking which was $15 by itself. Aiden is still too little to ride "the little kid" rides by himself and there are only a few that he can ride with a parent so we ended up switching him off whenever we wanted to ride something and that coupled with the heat and trying to maneuver a stroller and an unhappy toddler through a crowd...didn't add up to a great time to me but we were glad we went just so that we know we don't have to go again for a while! We left thinking man we should really thank our parents for bringing us to amusement parks when we were young, this is hard work!
Aiden liked tweetie bird!
Aiden did NOT like the horse or the carousel
Aiden trying to GET OUT of the little train
The moltz boys ready to leave the park after only 3 hours!
Thanks mom for the tickets. We will go back when aiden is a little older/ bigger. AND when it's not so hot!!!

I am glad that you had free tickets. It is alot of work with small children at the theme parks. I don't think it is worth the effort or money to take them until they are about 4-5 years old, they really don't remember it before that age anyway. I love the last picture.

love to all

Ahhhhhhh - I can't believe he doesn't like the Carousel horses. Give him one more year. :-)

It's really hard to pass up free tickets, but I bet you were all glad to get home that day. Whenever I think it's hot here I just think of you guys. Maybe you all should move to Michigan :-)
