It's monday again

I just noticed that I have been posting on mondays the past couple of weeks...that's not intentional!

So what's new with us...Ben is in negotiations with his work to switch stores and get into the Fort Worth market. This is something we have been praying and hoping for so we really hope it will work out. Things still have to be discussed. That's the thing about working for a big corporation, many levels of management have to sign off on a change but we are hopeful that the deal will go through and ben will get moved! He wants to be in the FW market 1) because there is much more opportunity to move up, it is a much bigger market 2) because we would ideally like to move to FW or at least arlington. The commute to dallas is crazy and also my parents and brother are in FW, my aunt kim's in arlington...lots of good babysitters over that way and when aiden starts school we'd like for him to over that way and our church is that way...so basically yeah, keep that in your prayers if you remember! We should know a definite answer in the next couple of days. 

As for church, it has been my intention for a while to get involved with the young marrieds group at our church. They are a great bunch but because of the crazy summer schedule we have had, plus unforeseen things, plus lots of other excuses I have....we just haven't! Well friday night I went to a "girls night" with 3 of the other girls from the group and we had such a good time! I so enjoyed getting to know these girls because they are very much at the same life stage I am...they have little babies/kids, they are stay at home mom's who sometimes feel stir crazy and they live in our"financial stage".  Then last night we went to a BBQ with a whole bunch of people from the young marrieds group. It was a madhouse because there were AT LEAST 15 kids all under the age of 4 so we didn't get us much time to chat as we did friday night but I am still excited about growing these friendships and getting more involved with our church. 

As for my blog book, I have hit a wall. It takes so long to make REALLY cute pages and I want really cute pages. I'm caught up to where aiden's about to be born and those pages need to be SUPER CUTE! I just can't get up the energy to do them, terrible I know!

As for Aiden, he has got to be coming up on that terrible two's thing cause he is a little terror right now (sorry mom, he is!). He has learned how to pout. You tell him no and he will lay down on the ground and look at you with the saddest "you hurt my feelings" face. It's awful! And pretty much everything hurts his feelings right now because he gets told NO about a thousand times a day! Last night at the BBQ he pushed some little girl down cause she tried to look at the toy he was playing with, he stole the babies toys that their moms had set in front of them and then he walked around with a big foam bat he WOULD NOT let go of almost taking all the other little kids heads off. Oh my my...I am still nervous about him starting his little nursery school next week but I am going to be glad to have even a few hours of peace and hopefully he will get used to sharing and being around other kids!

Speaking of school...mamaw came over thursday night and brought aiden pretty much every outfit they are currently selling in target's fall line! He now has so many cute things for fall! I am ready for it to get cool outside so he can wear some of them. He is going to be the cutest little boy ever! (he already is!)
