Swimming Lessons

Aiden just finished swimming lessons last week & I am beyond thrilled with how well he did. At the beginning of the summer he wouldn't get off the step in the pool even WITH his floaties on. Aiden wasn't necessarily scared of the water but just convinced that he couldn't do it and didn't want to try. We had been able to somewhat convince him to swim with his floaties on but he was still hesitant and fearful. Enter Ms. SUZY!!! Aiden spent 2 weeks in lessons with her and 2 other kids, so small class. I have no idea what she did during this time cause I wasn't allowed to stay and watch until the last day but Aiden kept wanting to go back so that made me happy. Then on the last day ben, hallie & I all went to see what Ms. Suzy had been able to teach him and we were AMAZED!!!

REALLLLLY impressed. Aiden had a BIG fear of the deep end of the pool.

I have no idea how this lady was able to accomplish so much with aiden in these short lessons but I am thrilled. Whatever she did, she is GOOD. Aiden doesn't hate her, in fact he loves her & wants to go back more. He is so much more confident in his swimming & I feel awesome about how much he is able to do on his own now. Swimming lessons = Huge Success!!!
