Valentines 2013

I'm ohhhh so behind on blogging!! February has just flown by. So much going on and it's been nonstop around here. Now it's time to catch up on the blog...
If you know me at all, you know we tend to celebrate holidays around here for quite awhile. We did valentines for probably about a week :) So much fun! Some of the things I want to document are the teachers gifts we did for aiden & hallie's teachers, the valentines they gave to their friends and then of course how we celebrated in our family.

1st up...teacher gifts...
A starbucks gift card cause they "pour themselves into being teachers"
Burt's bees chapstick cause they "stick by our sides"
Hand salve cause they "deserve a hand"
A cutesy pen cause they've got "the write stuff"
And finally conversation hearts cause "their names are written on our hearts"
(Yes I know I'm a HUGE cheese ball!!! I can't help it!!!)
All 5 little gifts were then stuffed into these cute little mail boxes decorated for valentines

Now the valentines that we came up with for aiden & hallie to give to their buddies.
I tried to go semi- healthy. Or at least not candy sugar filled treats. Hallie gave goldfish with little tags that said "of all the fish in the sea...I'm so glad we swim in the same school"
And aiden gave white cheddar popcorn with tags that said "My heart pops for you"
I know! The cheesiness continues but I worked really hard on all their homemade gifts and valentines so I want to document them!
All of it laid out on the table the night before...Oh yeah I also signed up to take favors to both valentines parties at school so those are the red bags in the back.
All packed up, in what else? Diaper boxes!!  ready for school on valentines day!!

 Happy heart day!!!!
Heart shaped pancakes, heart shaped plates
Valentine decor & valentines treats for the kiddos

Aiden checking out his valentine goodies

 Hallie with hers
Next year I think I may skip the valentines boxes and treats and just get the kids a bunch of balloons. Those were the big hit and are still floating around our house like 2 weeks later. Getting played with every day. Crazy kiddos.
 Love this girl!
We were blowing bubbles at her

Doing some balloon dancing. Good times.

Mommy even got some special valentines treats hand delivered. Flowers from my sweet hubby.
Beautiful.
Aiden actually took this picture of me with my flowers. Not too bad.
And my 2nd bunch of roses from ben & kids. I felt very loved for sure.

These are "valentine" pics I took before valentines day so that I could get them printed on valentine cards to send to our family.

 The boys.
Aiden. Could he be any cuter???
 Charley Bear
 Precious Hallie
Happy Valentines Day! From Us!!! I had an awesome valentines day. Maybe my favorite to date. I got a lotta love in my life & the 4 best valentines a girl could ask for!

Awwww! How special those students and teachers must have felt. You are THAT room Mother that every teacher wants! Very creative. And love your flowers. Aiden is a very good photographer. :-)
