Valentine Extravaganza

Yesterday ben and I had a very good valentine's day. I hope everyone else did too!! To briefly tell you about our day....I made chocolate chip pancakes for ben in the morning and he got me roses and an orchid plant! Both of which are gorgeous. We went across the street to Fuji steakhouse for dinner (it is a hibachi place). We went at 5 because we didn't want to have to wait hours for a table. The food was very good and we didn't have to wait at all, but while eating we noticed that we have officially crossed over into the "old people" category. The people who were at the restaurant to eat at 5 were couples with children, senior citizens, young girls with their grandmothers, etc....there was no one in the place that remotely looked like they were on a date. Oh well, we didn't have to wait and we were home before the sun went down!! As ben said all that was missing was "watching wheel of fortune and going to bed"!! That's not what we did though. ben made me chocolate covered strawberries for dessert and then we watched some movies at home. An over all very happy valentines day for us! Hope everyone had as much fun sharing with their loved ones!

Hey! Not all us old people eat dinner that early and go to bed by 8:00 :)

Love those Florida strawberries. Did you go to the strawberry festival in Plant City? Yum! Yum!

Looks like you both had a perfect Valentines Day. May you have many more!!!

Love you,

Grandma Karen

Glad you had such a good day. We had a quiet day at home, just the way we like it. The roses and orchid are beautiful. Can't wait to see you.

love you all, mom
