Our sweet baby is already 6 months!!! Cant believe it. Halfway to a year. Seriously has gone by in a blink. Yes I sound like an old woman sitting in her rocker talking bout days gone by, but its TRUE, it's too fast :( At 6 months Charley is just an absolute delight though. Such a happy baby. He really only has 2 emotions that are notable every day. Happy and Hungry. He's either all smiles, all happy, All the time OR...he's hungry. And when he's hungry and you're not quick enough about it- he can let you know how displeased he is.
At 6 months charley is now sitting on his own for extended periods of time. He can sit up for 20 minutes plus by himself before he gets tired. Charley is still not rolling over though and we are not positive if that's a lack of ability or a lack of "want-to". It's a little bit bizarre though because at his 6 month well child appointment his pediatrician pointed out that it is harder muscle wise to sit up than to roll over so it's like he's skipped a step.
We have introduced baby food to charley. We've done baby cereal, peas, green beans and sweet potatoes so far. He likes sweet potatoes the best (shocker) but is not a huge fan of any of the baby foods in general. So far that's exactly like his big brother & sister :-/ I was hoping he would be my good eater but so far it's not shaping up that way.
At 6 months Charley weighs in at 18 lbs 2 oz. and 27.5 inches tall. The stats say he is in the 56th percentile for weight and 80th for height. He is still in the 98th percentile for the size of his head :) I think he's got big brains!
Charley still really enjoys his sleep time at 6 months, he sleeps between 10-12 hours for us at night and still takes at least 2 or 3 naps during the day. He can also get cranky if you try to keep him up when he wants to be sleeping.
All in all Charley is doing really great. Other than the not rolling over there doesn't seem to be any delays from being born early. He has definitely caught up and then some on his size and he is perfect!

That face would melt the coldest of hearts! Love that he has such an easy-going, HAPPY disposition. Youl would never know now that he tried to come into this world too early! He is just perfect.
