Today Aiden and I had a BIG day. We went to babies R us by ourselves. This is actually not a huge thing but it was the first time that I planned to take him on a little shopping trip that I knew would be time consuming. It was interesting....the first hour he was great, he slept in his car seat and I was having a great time going through Babies R Us and then he woke up and was not so happy (there is a pic of him when he is crying in his seat). We left Babies R Us as quickly as possible and then I got to experience sitting in the car (with the car running so it wouldn't be hot) and trying to feed him, change him, burp him, and get him to go back in his car seat. It was a little bit more time consuming then I anticipated but it all worked out. Life as I knew it is definitely different...there is no such thing as just "running to the store" when you have a baby. However, I managed and I look forward to many more shopping trips with Aiden.
Here is a slideshow of all the 2 month pics I took today. We had 3 different outfit changes and....He FINALLY fits into the outfit he was supposed to come home from the hospital in. I was obviously very silly thinking he would be able to wear that as a newborn. Oh well. I will know for next time and he looks cute in it now. ALSO I took more pics of him in the outfit he wore for Mother's day cause it was just oh so cute and although jarod and ben aren't big fans of the hat, I think he looks adorable!!! Also I took his picture in his dallas cowboy outfit because we bought that when I was about 6 months pregnant and Ben has been very excited for the day it would fit and it finally does. I also took a couple with him just in his diaper so we can compare how big his tummy gets later. haha. He is oh sooooo cute!!!!

Oh and little side note, I never used to be so silly. I remember my mom used to talk to babies (like I do now) and I would call her a crazy lady so like I said.....life as I know it is different.
Charley Ray is our newest blessing! He was anxious to be a part of our family and surprised us all when he came 5 weeks early. He is sweet as pie and he is very loved!
Hallie is our little princess. She is a blessing and a joy to this family. She steals our hearts with her cuddles and her smiles every day!
Aiden is 4 years old and he challenges and entertains us every single day. He is the most tender hearted, sweet, imaginative, and entertaining child ever. We are blessed to be his parents.
We have been married since June of 2006. We are partners in all things and there is no one else I would rather be spending this chaotic, crazy, amazing life with!

i have a comment about the easter hat. i think it will be great for blocking the sun from his precious face at padre, but then, at the end of the trip....it should get lost at sea..
