New Computer

Well Ben and I had an upsetting/exciting day yesterday. Our laptop that we have been exclusively using the past months completely crapped out on us. For those of you who have visited know that it has been dying slowly little by little and it met its demise yesterday. All of the problems (hopefully) can be fixed but it has to be sent off to HP to be fixed which will take anywhere from 2-6 weeks. I am about to take my VERY last college credit which will be the most time consuming and difficult I have had yet and obviously I cannot be without a computer at this very crucial time SOOOOOO we had to dip into our savings and buy a computer yesterday. We were planning to buy a desktop when we moved anyways but had not planned on having to make this purchase so quickly. Now for the exciting part....we bought the 20 inch desktop imac. We set it up last night and I have been spending most of the day today playing and learning on it. It is so very different than a PC. However; I can tell you in just the short amount of time that we have had this computer, it is by FAR the coolest computer I have ever seen/owned. The Mac computers make everything SOOOO easy! I wish I had had this computer throughout college, all the presentations, reports, etc that I have spent hours upon hours working on with microsoft can be done in a matter of minutes on a Mac. It is truly amazing. So for anyone who is thinking about buying a new computer.....I HIGHLY recommend going with the mac. Now this is also just as exciting for everyone who reads my blog because this computer comes with so many awesome capabilities that you can expect some really cool videos and pictures to come. I am still learning about everything that I can do on here but as soon as I figure it out. I will have some cool stuff to share!!!
