So on to other things...mostly all things AIDEN. Aiden is amazing me every single day with the things he knows and what he is learning and how his speech is just coming at warp speed now. Sometimes I just look into that little face and really feel like he understands every single thing I say. His comprehension is just crazy. The past month has been the biggest change I have ever seen in him. I wrote about a week ago that I think he had 31? words....I have no idea how many he has now but I would say possibly 10-12 more? I'm estimating because it's so hard. He picks things up really fast now. Last night we were at ben's dads celebrating Andrew's (ben's brother) birthday and ben's dad has this footprint on his wall that was his footprint when he was like 5...anyways aiden just all the sudden points to it and goes "a foot" and then sits down and grabs his feet and says "my foot". I'm sitting there going what???? Where did that come from? We have worked on his parts of the body, like belly, ear, nose, eye...we've never worked on foot. Of course he hears foot because we say "give me your foot" or whatever when we put his shoes on but he had never done that before. I was shocked. Speaking of, feet....Aiden LOVES our backyard. He loves to be outside. He wants to be outside all day every day! It is actually pretty annoying. The cute part is that he knows the order, he will bring you his socks and say "sock" and hold up his feet for you to put them on him. Then he will bring you his shoes and say "shoes" again holds up feet till you put them on him. Then he will go to the backdoor and say "outside, outside, outside, outside, outside, outside, outside, outside" Yes it does not stop until you take him outside. The trick is to catch what he's doing when he wants you to put on his shoes, although if you don't he'll just say "shoes, shoes, shoes, shoes, shoes, shoes, shoes, shoes". Yep I'm getting to that point where I'm like whoever taught this child that word!!! It really is great though to watch his little mind work and watch him learn new things all the time. He is turning into a little person right before our eyes! Showing all of his little personality. His intelligence plus his determination should make for some wonderful two's!

Say What???
I have not posted in a while because our lives have not been very interesting. Mostly consisting of football, trying to find work, getting ready for the holidays. Not very exciting stuff. Speaking of the job front, I feel the need to update even though there is not much to report. Ben has some solid prospects, actually 3. In very different fields, doing very different things. There will probably not be a FIRM job offer on any of them for a couple more weeks and even when it is, it looks like all jobs would be starting after the first of the year. The silver lining of this is that ben will be free for any and all holiday festivities/ trips and that makes me extremely happy. The distressing part is just the longer this unemployment business goes on, the scarier it gets. We have great faith though that God is about to open an amazing opportunity for ben that we would not have had if all this mess with cash america had not happened. I have great faith....most of the time.

Remember when I was there last month and you were talking about how he wasn't really talking yet? :) There is no going back now, just like crawling and walking :)
