Easter playdate

Friday I had an Easter EGGstravaganza playdate at my house! I invited my playdate girls and the kiddos over for a waffle brunch, egg hunt, and easter craft! We had SO much fun! I made blueberry, chocolate chip, and regular waffles with bacon and sausage. We had a big easter egg hunt in our backyard so that our little ones can get used to the idea before the BIG hunt at our church next weekend. I had also painted these white craft frames and wooden decals and put the kids names on them for each family to take home and to hold the kids easter pictures. Then the kids got to "embellish" their frames with stick on foam stickers. Our kiddos are not yet to the age where they can do much of the craft themselves.

The frames I had made BEFORE the kids started to add to them! They're pretty cute without any extra embellishment! If I do say so myself!
Some of the waffle brunch laid out. We had all the toppings! Blueberries, strawberries, whip cream, powdered sugar, nuts, syrup, oh my!! Calories do NOT count on playdate day!
Some of the mayhem of momma's and kids trying to eat, socialize and getting the kids fed at the same time!
Precious kiddos... there are only 6 pictures, we had 11!
Aiden who egg hunted like a PRO! I picked up the first couple for him and showed him the concept and then he was all over it!

More egg hunting...
This little guy is only 14 months, he was content to sit and look at eggs.
Working on the frames!
Lacey and tucker! He's one of the oldest kids in our playgroup. He just turned 4. They're adorable.
Suzanne trying to get her 4 out the door as everyone was packing up. YES 4, she has 2 year old QUADS!!!! She is my hero!

We had such a good time at our playdate. I was thoroughly worn out by the time all of them left (next time I host a playdate, I may try for a public setting instead of at my house!) but I am continually being blessed by my mommy friends and their sweet kiddos. We have an amazing group and the kids have so much fun together!

Wow! Jenn......that looks amazing. I love the waffle idea and those frames turned out great.

I love watching those precious babies hunt eggs.

I also like the table and that everyone brought their own high chair. How clever your young moms are.
You got some very cute pictures.

Thanks for sharing. Yes.....Aiden will definitely be a pro by Easter Sunday.
