So it's taken me FOREVER to get enough time to work on my padre pictures, make collages and then turn it into blog/book form. I've spent the last 2 days making my Padre book and
the book itself so you can all see. We had a GREAT GREAT week at padre as a family of 4 and a larger family of 21!!!! Hallie was wonderful and stole everyone's heart. Aiden was a HUGE ham and entertained the masses. He told all his family they were his "best friend he'd never seen". It's not quite as relaxing to go to the beach with 2 small children but the memories and experience are well worth it. I love this trip, I love my family. It's an amazing week we ALL look forward to all year long.

oh wow! it was worth all the time you put into it. The book is awesome. It definitely showcased the best of Padre.
So glad you wrote the part about Aiden telling everybody they were his best friend that he had never seen.
The only other thing I would add was how he carried the orange rake every where he went. He was the only kid I saw raking the waves.
Another great year at Padre. Another generation begins the tradition.
The book was GREAT!!! I was just at some of those places, too!! Where did y'all stay? We were at The Sapphire. Super nice!
Well, I have tried all afternoon on TWO computers and I keep getting a pop-up that says this book is temporarily unavailable. Doesn't look like I am going to be able to see it.
Deb I have no idea why that would be? Try looking at it from their website. Right underneath the imbedded preview on the blog there are 2 links, one says "SPI 2011" -click on that and it should take you to the blurb website and let you preview it there by clicking on the thumbnail. I know that's a lot more steps, sorry it's not coming up on your computer! Let me know if you still can't get to it, I'll send you the email preview.
Well, it FINALLY popped up on this blog!! (After I had already looked at it on e-mail.) Oh well! Better late than never. Love the book. You did a good job.
