Annual birthday celebration with mom!

My mom's birthday is november 17th and for about the past 5?? years now I have taken her on a "me and her" day to do some of her favorite things. We eat at california pizza kitchen and go shopping. Every year is a little bit different but the last two years since we have taken aiden we have done the exact same thing (see the difference in last year). Only last year aiden was a little bit more accommodating with picture taking. This year not so much.We have entered into terrible 2's people!!! We had a great time though. We went to the galleria and this year santa WAS already there before thanksgiving but since aiden had already seen santa, we didn't try that again! We did some shopping and then lunch at CPK and then walked over to sprinkles (an uppity cupcake place) to get some dessert cupcakes. Then we went on to north park to see what kind of decorations they had. By that point aiden was SPENT. He had gone from 9:30AM till 4 PM with no nap so we had to head home. Once again, a great tradition and looking forward to next year!
Writing our letter to santa at macy's
This said "aiden wants backyard toys!"
Aiden putting his letter in the mailbox

Having a happy meal

Aiden and gigi...check last year's to see this exact same picture!
Aiden and I...he's not liking the picture thing
I don't want my picture taken!
I said no more pictures!!!
This is his new thing...he lays down on the ground and throws a fit when he doesn't want to do something!
After lunch walking to sprinkles aiden wanted to stop and sit here...
And here...
And sprinkles!
Giving gigi a hug in the big christmas balls!
And finally playing in the big christmas balls in the middle of the shopping Center! What a great day, even with a few 2 yr old tantrums!

one of my favorite days of the year. I didn't think we got that many good pictures.

He was really good as long as we were walking and not taking pictures.

he just doesn't like to shop or take pictures!

notice the picture with me and him at the Galleria what he is holding on to. He held on to it all day.

ha ha - I would say that he had reached his limit on shopping!!

So, he is fixated on that screwdriver right now, huh?

These pictures are just too cute.

he is such a cute boy--I am sure he was not nearly as bad as you said. the pics are proof he was a very good boy and when he was lying on the floor he was just trying to tell you he was tired!!!

great pics-gigi looks too young to be a grandmother!!
