Day 2 in the Hospital- 2/20/11

Ben and I did not get much sleep saturday night (shocking right?) but ben "got up" bright and early to go home and help aiden get ready and bring him up to the hospital for our original plan of how he would meet hallie. Mamaw was nice enough to stay with aiden at our house so ben could spend the first night in the hospital with me and hallie. After getting aiden dressed in his 2nd big brother shirt, they picked up gifts for us girls and headed up to the hospital.

There were snacks, books, movies, toys. Hallie had prepared for aiden to be bored at the hospital.

We had so many people we love who came to the hospital to see us, be with us, stay with us, and come back. I didn't always capture them all. But we are soooo grateful for all the people who have loved on us in these first few days!

We are so grateful to ALL the friends and family who came to visit and see hallie. We definitely felt the love. Day 2 was a laid back day. We entertained visitors, we had people bring us lunch and dinner. Aiden stayed up at the hospital for as long as he could handle and then he went home to play and nap. Sunday night we decided to have my mom stay at the hospital with me so ben could go home and get a full night's sleep and stay with aiden. We figured one of us should try to be as rested as possible. Because day 3= Baby Hallie gets to come home!!!
