We were supposed to have our childbirth class last night and I wish I could tell you what we learned but.....we decided not to go. We are already horrible parents. Ben convinced me that we really didn't need to go this week because of what was on the agenda for this week. I think mostly he just really did not want to see the birthing video we were supposed to watch. So we went on a little date instead. We will be going back to our class in the next weeks though because there is something on the agenda for those weeks that I want to know.
In other news, my doctor called today with the results of my blood test. It is always scary when the doctor calls you cause it usually means something is wrong. However; nothing is really wrong. My glucose test came back and I passed that, but on my complete blood count screen it showed up that I am iron deficient. This is not all that suprising because I have struggled with my iron count most of my life. Iron comes primarily from red meat and fish in the diet and since I don't eat much of either of those, I have to get all my iron from supplements or vegetables. Anyways before now my iron count had always been acceptable but apparently now aiden is taking all my iron and leaving me with a deficiency. No big thing, I have to take an extra supplement in additon to my prenatal vitamins and we will be all good.
Anyways I have monday off school so I am very much looking forward to my long weekend. Happy MLK to everyone!

Jen, this is a link to a list from the CDC. Maybe you can find something on there you like:
