Spring Break!!!

As of 1 pm today I am officially on spring break and I am so excited! Just one more class to go. I don't have class today until 10:30 but ben had to get up and leave for work at 6 and after that I couldn't go back to sleep so I am up and blogging before class. I am so ready for spring break because if you need to find me I will be on my couch or sitting in the floor (working on Aiden's scrapbook) or taking naps during the day. I have big big plans! Very exciting plans! So anywyas update on me and aiden...ever since I quit work my back pain has subsided a little. I still get pains but not as bad as before. Also Aiden has gotten so big that his kicking room is incredibly diminished which means he squirms a lot more than kicks which for me means he doesn't keep me up during the night as much as before. Granted I still have to get up every hour or so to go to the bathroom and I have to constantly switch positions but all that is to be expected. Because Aiden is so big his bony prominences stick out all over my belly. At any given time you can find his knees or elbows back or butt just by examining the different bulges all over my belly. When I am trying to lay down though I have to lay on my sides and it makes me feel like I am crushing him. Now having said that...the braxton hicks contractions are coming more and more frequently and getting more intense. My doctor said this is a good thing because it means my body is preparing itself for labor, however; they do not feel like good things. They feel quite painful. For those elite women who never experienced braxton hicks contractions count yourself lucky! Anyways this blog wasn't supposed to be about complaining cause I am really not complaining. I am so incredibly excited that this journey is almost coming to an end. I have loved being pregnant, I have loved feeling my son grow and move, and now I am about ready to be done. Anyways in a few short hours I will start my spring break filled with nothing. I cannot wait!! Hope everyone else has a wonderful spring break!

I had those braxton hicks so bad with Blake that I had to take medicine for a while. When I was working, I would have one everytime I got up from my chair. oooo-fun~~~. I sure know what you are feeling, in that respects. Can't wait to get that CALL that you are at the hospital having Aiden. Don't forget...drugs are GREAT!!! This experience...say YES to drugs!! :) Love you, Sherry

2:30 today............

That is when my spring break begins.

I will be traveling around to the various doctor appointments that women have to do once a year once you turn a certain age.

In addition to that, I will be packing and writing my lesson plans for March 24-31.

March 24 is the day I am heading to Orlando to wait for baby Aiden to make his appearance.

Save some things for me to do.

Can't wait to hold that little bundle.

Love to Ben, Jenni and Aiden from Gigi

I told Kat today that if her grades weren't good she wasn't going to Orlando with me when Aiden comes. She groaned! I thought the Braxton Hicks felt sort of cool. I loved feeling that tightening in my belly and then feel the difference as they started generating around my back area. Then I knew we were really getting close. Looking forward to seeing you. Enjoy spring break. Ours is the week after next.

glad you have planned such an exciting spring break--sounds like a plan to me.

I am trying to get things ready for my visit--will make up my mind when to come after I hear from you Monday.

Hugs to all of you
