Hallie's Baby Dedication

Last Sunday at our Church we had a very special celebration. It was called the "celebration of new life" and all the babies that were born in 2011 were dedicated to the church by their parents. Our church family is very special to us and we are so excited that both aiden & hallie will grow up in such a loving, supportive, and spiritual environment.

A lot of our family came to be with us on this special day and we really appreciated it.

Hallie & aiden have both ben sick recently and hallie in particular has had such a hard time getting over it. She was having a rough morning on sunday so we were nervous how this was going to go. Playing peek-a-boo in the pews with uncle jarod.

Yes this is basically the best picture I have of us at the dedication. Between trying to keep hallie from ripping my earrings out, keep aiden from yelling out all the people's names he saw from the front, and keep aiden from running off...we were like a 1 family circus.

The elders and their wives came behind all the families to lay their hands on us and pray over us.

And after that both the elders and the congregation made pledges to the family's to help us raise our children in the Lord. Such a special blessing!

After church we all went to Jason's deli for some lunch.

Thanks so much to all the family and friends who were there to celebrate Hallie being dedicated to the church on sunday. It meant so much to us.

Hallie also received this special cross from the Bryant family. I love it and can't wait to hang it in her room!

The Lord has already blessed our family so much. Hallie is a very special little girl and I thank God every day that He thought enough of me to make me her mommy and entrusted Ben & I with her upbringing. We will pray & strive every day to raise both of our children in a way that would be pleasing to Him. We are so lucky to have both biological family and church family who are willing to partner with us on this amazing journey called parenthood!
