Aiden is really doing some fun things right now. For one, he can now roll over. We discovered this on accident because we keep putting him on his tummy to try and get his crawling muscles strengthened and he has just now started to roll back over like "nope no tummy time thank you!". He is also starting to "scoot", when we put him on his tummy he will stick his booty way up in the air and push off with his feet so he is kinda scooting along...he hasn't mastered the whole raise up on your elbows and do it all at once thing. Another thing is he is "talking" up a storm. He LOVES to hear his voice so he just sits and talks constantly. We will put him in his swing and he will just sit and talk to himself. But if you sit and "talk" back to him he will keep talking forever. The other day ben and I were out running errands and he just sat in his stroller and talked talked talked. At one point I asked ben if before we had a baby would we have thought that was annoying??? I really don't know. My rational now is that no it's not cause he's not crying or screaming, he's just chatting with himself. People who don't have babies will have to let me know. Here is a pic we took at a furniture store the other day. We thought it was funny because we have a bunch of giraffe stuff for Aiden/ in Aiden's room and this was "supposedly" a life size giraffe that they wanted 2000 dollars for! HA

Another thing is he will be 4 months old tomorrow! I can't believe it, but anyways at 4 months baby's can start cereal. Actually depending on what pediatrician you go to, some say you can start at 3, but ours said 4. Since we got home from Padre though Aiden has been all messed up on his sleeping schedule and it was driving ben and I insane!! It was like having a newborn again which was really hard cause we were so used to him sleeping from around 10:30 at night to 8 in the morning. Well since Padre he would wake up at 2, 5, 8...just round the clock and we didn't know what to do. SOOOO I decided to start him on cereal a few days early and see if it made a difference because when he wakes up in the middle of the night he is actually hungry. So for the past two nights I have put cereal in his bottle before bed and we got these bigger nipples to allow "for thicker liquids" and OH MY GOODNESS!! It is so awesome!!! He sucks down 6 oz of formula WITH cereal like it's nothing, immediately goes to sleep and sleeps through the night again!!! I LOVE IT!
Here is a video I tried to take of Aiden this morning. I was hoping to catch either his "scooting" or rolling over on video however he just wanted to lay there and talk, I still think it's cute though!!
Ok and one more pic of my boys!! I just thought this was a sweet pic of Aiden with his daddy! :)

I love the pics and the video is great. He sure is a talker. Glad that the cereal in the formula worked, I was thankful for that when Ben was a baby, he was always hungry (I think that is still true today :) ) Can't wait to see you all.
its hard to get a bad pic of any of you!!! I love that he ,Aiden, likes to talk. I am pretty sure he was saying "get me to mamaw's in a hurry"!!!
David did not crawl --Aiden is doing what he did--tush up in the air and scoot along on his tummy.
so looking forward to having you here./
love, mamaw
just for fun...zoom in on aiden in the giraffe pic, Ben and I think he looks like a monkey, haha :)
That is a great monkey face. He is just the cutest baby. Sorry I did not call you back yesterday. I am making baby food today. Squash has over run the garden. I used dry ice when I went to the island, it will work great for you all to travel to Texas. It will keep for several days. For now I am freezing all the food in ice cube trays, then transfering to ziplock bags. Also am making pesto tody, you might get a jar if you are lucky :)
love you
