Aiden is again playing spring t-ball with the city of arlington. Ben & I decided that we were going to sit out this season for coaching and see if aiden might respond better to learning from someone other than his parent (s).
He is on team "Riverdogs" this season and he is still with a few of his buddies from his former team so that's nice. Aiden has been doing really well at practices so we had high hopes for how his 1st game would go.
Wellll it didn't turn out quite that way...
In the 1st inning of the game Aiden did ok. He at least listened and participated.
He didn't always look incredibly thrilled but he was participating.

And here's where the breakdown begins. Aiden starts to whine & cry in the outfield and Ben has to go out there to help him.

We survived game 1. Hopefully game #2 will be better!!!
Side note: The afternoon of this game aiden developed a very high fever and was sick for several days after this so it is my personal belief that he was probably already feeling yucky during the game and couldn't verbalize that. Yep that's my story and I'm sticking to it! :)
