The Galleria =6th Day of Christmas!!!

Last monday, as is our tradition, Gigi and I took the kids to the Galleria. We had a yummy lunch, checked out the christmas decor, took pictures, got a few christmas gifts and of course wrote the kids letters to Santa.

I've taken aiden & hallie to do this every single year and it's always a special day. This year was no exception. Let me just tell ya, there is a lot of preparation & anxiety that goes into getting 3 kids ages 4 and under out on a COLD winters day (Yes it was 30 degrees in texas this particular day!) to go to a crowded shopping mall during the christmas rush. It had the potential to be disastrous. But I was so proud of my 3. They could not have been any better. They were happy, they were smiley, aiden listened like a champ, charley slept pretty much the whole time allowing us to cart him around with ease. I was really really proud of my babies. And do you know what they actually got from the mall??? They each got a pair of gloves and got to a pick an ornament to put on our tree to remember the day by and they were so excited about those things. They wore their gloves all through the mall proudly and the ornaments still have a hard time staying on the tree cause they like to take them down and play with them. Proud momma! Ahhhh it's days like these...

Me & Hallie at lunch
Stopped off in the little play area off the ice skating rink. Aiden wanted me to skate with him but I didn't think we had enough time so we played on the little rides instead.

This is right before she started rocking herself in this race car and slammed her forehead into the steering wheel :( Don't worry, no permanent damage done!
We went up to the santa land but did not wait in line to see santa. The kids have already seen santa several times and they didn't even ask. Little angels.
Gigi & kids. Take note of the gloves :)
Aiden & Hallie got christmas cookies to eat while we all sat for a spell so I could feed charley.

Love this one
And this one. Aiden in macy's with the "believe" clock & sign and the magic mailbox.
On the way home. Still happy campers
Hallie, especially was a very tired girl but still happy clutching her snow globe ornament with her gloves on.  Love love love. Loved the day. Love the tradition. Love these kids!!!

I love this tradition. Didn't know how it was going to be this year with a little baby, but Charley was such a trooper. He slept the whole time.

I especially love the picture of the kids with their gloves on in the middle of the mall. :-)
