Sunday Ben's parents came over to celebrate my birthday with me and the weather was AWESOME. So cool and refreshing that we cooked outside and let aiden play outside until it got dark. He was sooooo happy to be outside again. We have only let him play for 30 mins or so at a time during the summer cause it was just too blasted hot! So sunday was a welcome treat, now if it would only STAY cool...
Papaw pulling aiden around in the yard in his wagon. Look at aiden's happy face!
Papaw showing aiden how to hold his bat.
And now this series of pictures is entitled "it's time for aiden to learn to play t-ball". Ben's family and I mean his WHOLE family are big into baseball. It's like a moltz men right of passage that you have to play baseball, growing up here in texas, my family is more into football so aiden will just have to be equally schooled in both but for now...T-Ball!
And even grammy showing aiden how it's done.
Aiden's turn! He's got the stance down...and SWINGGGG..
Now what do you notice in every single one of these "swinging" pictures??
He's swinging, he's hitting the ball and sometimes the tee but what else??
He has his eyes CLOSED!!!
Every single time he would go to swing he would anticipate connecting with the ball and he would close his eyes! There's some schooling yet to be done :)
Watching grammy and daddy play a game of catch
Got a batter seat for watching how to "catch"
Just oh so happy to be outside!!!
Such a happy boy...And what makes him even happier??
CAKE!!!
What a happy happy birthday I had! Aiden loved celebrating my birthday with me and I loved sharing with him. He is just at such a fun fun stage right now!

Ok. He has PERFECT form, he makes contact with the ball - just imagine how good he is going to be once he finally OPENS HIS EYES!! That is just tooooooo cute!! Loving this Fall Weather.
One of Brandi's perfect catches in softball...her eyes were closed. We need him ASAP for a weekend!!!
