Texas Fair 2010

Tuesday Ben had the day off and we planned to go out to the Texas state fair with some good friends. We have never taken aiden before although ben and I have been several times so we were not real sure what to expect. We went later in the afternoon after naps and stayed until the kiddos had had enough. It was fun just to be out in the atmosphere of the "fair" even if we didn't get the chance to do everything because we had 2 two year olds weighing us down!

We started at the petting zoo where they had a wide array of animals from all over in pens with each other. I was astonished by some of the animals they had and by their SIZE!

A brand new baby GIRL zebra nursing from her mama. This baby zebra was born 10-10-10. Kudos to zebras. That baby is HUGE!

Now off to the car show, which was by far the kids favorite part! Crawling in and out of cars, Yes Please!!!

Again cringing, don't put your feet all over the leather seats of these ridiculously expensive cars!!! But the cars at the car shows looked more like they should be in the circus, with all the kids crawling through and popping out...how many kids can fit in a car??
Aiden loved the ATV's and motorcycles and YES we asked before letting him sit on them.

And we let aiden ride ONE ride since everything at the fair is so ridiculously expensive but it was worth it. He loved it!
