Christmas Day 2011

Almost done with my Christmas posts!!! I think I can...I think I can... :)

Christmas morning we woke up at gigi & poppy's house to find that Santa had found us and left a bunch of lot of loot for the kiddos!!!

Aiden's.

He got a big boy bike, a big orange boat, and the tag reader with a few books!

Hallie's

She got a boat toy also for the bath, a swing for the backyard, a walker/ stroller with her 1st baby doll and a music table.

And hallie grabbed this little boat captain from her bath toy and chewed on it pretty much the rest of the morning. Santa didn't realize that would be the favorite toy...

Aiden got this tractor shirt and a tractor hoodie from uncle jarod. He loved them and immediately put them on!

I got these ridiculously cute toms wedges from my SIL. She even got little leopard shoes for hallie that match mine. So perfect!

Ben got Keen's from my parents for the lake house.

Mom got yoga DVD's from us.

And aiden got this HUGE piano from my parents....just can't thank you guys enough for this gift...it's the gift that just keeps giving!

Aiden also got this trampoline which he loves jumping on from uncle jarod & aunt beth

Beth and I both got boots from mom & dad....I think there was a "shoe" theme this year!

After all the presents had been opened Jarod went to work making us all a yummy breakfast/ brunch.

And after breakfast we spent the rest of the morning just lounging around, playing with our gifts and enjoying being together

We came home mid- afternoon and let the kids take naps and after naps they/ we opened our very last presents of the holidays.

Grandma Karen had sent the kids books that had been wrapped under the tree for weeks so aiden was excited to finally get to unwrap them! And then the kids got to open the 2 presents each they had from mommy & daddy

and an orange helicopter! This was another theme of this christms. Everything must be ORANGE!!!

and this is what Ben and I gave to each other! An electric griddle. Yay!!!

Christmas was really special this year. for one it was hallie's first christmas and for another aiden really got into it this year. He loved counting down to Christmas, he loved the Christmas lights and still wants to turn them on every day even though he knows Christmas is over. We really enjoyed all of our family fun and Christmas celebrations. It was just a really good holiday season. We are so blessed by our love & our family!!!!
